Marie Rogers

Picture
Marie Rogers (1922-2010) took up pottery when she married Horace Rogers, a fourth-generation Jugtown potter. She used homemade clay and local glazes to create her face jugs and stoneware pottery. In contrast to her husband's works, Marie's creations tended to be small and intricate.

Her work has been featured in books, private collections and museums.
